ok, so i'm re-reading and I was wondering if anyone knows what Kat was drinking( shots,10 i think) at the bar before Tambi/Bambi(can't always tell them apart) came to collect her?

Well, it's never stated, but you could guess either vodka or whiskey. These are the only two things ever shown/called by name around Kat.
In I Dream of You, after bolting from the mall, she has a bottle of vodka, which she contemplates opening, but smashes instead. At her art opening in Houston, the one with the paintings of Francie, she orders whiskey. Beyond that, your guess is as good as mine(but I prefer vodka myself, so I'll just assume it was vodka... )

On the topic of alcohol, friendly warning.

Do NOT drink half a bottle of Butterscotch Schnapps after a few JB,s and coke. It's very bad for you and may lead to attempted aerobics intruction at 3 in the morning. (speaking from experience)Other sad fact is that other people even joined in.

Thanks to you both. I'll stay away from the schapps. I prefer whisky my self with a bit of ice. But the liquid in the shot glass was clear so Vodka is probably the beverage of choice for ms. Choovanski.

I guess I'm more of a Francine type drinker.
Worst thing I ever did was consume an entire bottle of Bailey's just before a final. I was studying, it was snowing out, and I kept spiking my hot chocolate. Didn't realise the bottle was empty until I stood up to go to my exam and the floor tilted.
It strikes me that Francine might have done something similar.
I wonder what kind of alcohol david drinks?

Butterscotch schnapps! I have a fond memory of staying at my company's apartment in another city. In the pantry there was no food but there was a bottle of butterscotch schnapps. There was a jazz combo playing in the bar below the apartment and I spent a blissful summer evening on the balcony, enjoying the music and getting quietly drunk.

Terry seems to touch on Kat's continued use and abuse of alcahol. In sanctuary, kat gets drunk in the flash back and fran in the flash forward. Curious.

The only Russian I know besides da, nyet, and dasvidanya.
I imagine the only thing keeps me from drinking more is that I am a vodka snob, and I generally only drink 100 proof Stolichnaya, and I'm waaay to poor to drink that more than 'once in awhile'...
